HVAC services

MAINTAIN IT NOW.REPLACE IT LATER.

A system that gets serviced twice a year runs the fifteen years it was built for. One that does not usually gets replaced around year ten, and the decision gets made on the day it fails rather than on a day of your choosing.

HVAC services

Maintenance, diagnostics,
and everything written down.

Seasonal maintenance on the equipment you already own, and measured diagnostics when something is not right. We do not sell systems, so nothing we tell you pays us extra.

Pricing

What each visit
covers, and costs.

Repairs are quoted before we start. Scheduled work is flat priced and published above. A repair depends on the part and the labor it takes, so we diagnose first, quote you a total, and do not begin until you approve it. Refrigerant is priced at current market value.

Diagnostic visit

Something is not right and you want to know what. We measure airflow, static pressure, temperature split, electrical and drainage, then tell you plainly what we found. You keep the readings whether or not we do the repair.

Waived when you approve the repair, so the diagnosis costs you nothing and you only pay for the work.

$79

Cooling tune-up

Condenser cleaned without chemicals, drain pan treated and drain line cleared, then a full check: visual inspection, electronic testing of motors, controls and start components, safety check, and a performance test.

Additional system $99. Auxiliary system $49.

$159

Heating tune-up

Sensors, burners and coils cleaned where applicable, then the same full check: visual inspection, electronic testing of motors, controls and start components, safety check, and a performance test.

Additional system $99. Auxiliary system $49.

$159

Extended diagnostic

When the fault does not show itself on a standard visit. Leak search, electrical shorts, and a full system check, with everything we measure written down.

15% off for plan members.

The maintenance plan

Member rates,
or ours.

We publish two rates: what anyone pays, and what a plan member pays. The plan covers both seasonal tune-ups and takes 15 percent off repairs. Most households that call us twice a year are ahead inside the first year.

The equipment you already own

Quality service
with no upsell.

There is no version of this where we earn more by telling you the system is finished. We do not sell equipment and nobody here works on commission, so the recommendation you get is the one we would give in our own house.

If it genuinely needs replacing we will say so, put the reasoning in writing, and point you to someone who does that work properly.

Why maintenance matters

Most systems are replaced
years before they had to be.

A heating and cooling system rarely fails without warning. It declines quietly, running longer for the same result, until the decline becomes a breakdown in the middle of a Tennessee July. Maintenance is what turns that into a planned decision instead of an emergency purchase.

Safety

A heating system is a combustion appliance. Cracked heat exchangers, failed safety controls and blocked flues are the failures that matter, and none of them announce themselves. The safety check is the part of a tune-up we will not shorten.

Reliability

Dirty coils, restricted airflow and low charge make equipment work harder than it was built to, which is what turns a fifteen-year system into a ten-year one. Two visits a year is what keeps it on the longer number.

Transparency

Every reading written down and yours to keep, so you can compare them next year and see a decline before it becomes a breakdown. We do not sell equipment, so nothing we tell you pays us extra.

How our pricing works

What you pay,
and how to pay less.

Our rate and the plan member rate are both on this page. Beyond those, there are two ways to pay less without joining anything.

Returning customers

Serviced by us in the last 24 months? You take 5% off your next job. We apply it when you book. You do not have to remember to ask.

Referrals

Send us someone who books and completes a job and you take 10% off your next one. Plan members get $25 off their renewal instead.

Plan members

The lowest rate we offer, plus 15% off service work, priority scheduling, and reduced after-hours rates.

One discount per visit. Discounts do not combine. If more than one applies, we use whichever saves you the most. Plan members already receive the lowest rate we offer, so member pricing replaces the other discounts rather than stacking with them.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Do you offer any discounts?

Returning customers who have used us in the last 24 months take 5% off. Referring someone who books and completes a job earns you 10% off your next visit, or $25 off your renewal if you are already on the plan.

The maintenance plan is the biggest saving: both tune-ups included, 15% off service work, and reduced emergency rates.

One discount per visit, and we apply whichever saves you the most.

When is the diagnostic fee waived?

When you approve the repair. The $79 comes off the invoice, so the diagnosis costs you nothing and you only pay for the work.

If you decide not to go ahead, the fee stands. It covers the trip and the time to measure and test the system, and you keep the written readings either way.

After-hours and weekend calls carry their own fee and the diagnostic cannot be waived on them. We tell you that on the phone when you book so there is no surprise.

How often should HVAC maintenance be done?

Twice a year is the standard: cooling before the first hot week, heating before the first cold one. If you only do one, make it cooling, because that is the system under the most strain in Middle Tennessee.

Once a year is still far better than never. Most of what we find on a first visit has been building quietly for several seasons.

My system is working fine. Why would I book anything?

Because working and working well are different things. A system can cool the house while running twice as long as it should, costing you money every month and wearing out years early.

The point of a maintenance visit is measured readings you can compare next year. That is how you see decline coming instead of discovering it in July.

Do you sell or install new systems?

No, and that is deliberate. We do maintenance, diagnostics and repairs. Nobody here earns more by telling you the system is finished.

If you do need a replacement, we will say so, put the reasoning in writing, and point you to someone who does that work properly.

What does a maintenance visit actually include?

Coil condition, airflow across the evaporator, temperature split, static pressure, condensate drainage, electrical connections, filter condition, and thermostat operation.

You get every reading written down and photographs of anything we flag, whether or not you have us do the work.

Can you look at a replacement quote I have been given?

Yes, and it is one of the more useful things we do. We inspect the existing system, read the proposal, and tell you what is necessary, what is optional, and what looks overpriced.

You keep the written findings and can take them to any contractor.

Do you handle emergency breakdowns?

We are a maintenance and diagnostics operation, not a 24-hour emergency service. If your system is down we will get to you as soon as the schedule allows and tell you honestly if someone else can get there faster.
