Who we are

Marshall and Sons LLC, trading as Marshall and Sons Home Services, is a home services business in Nashville, Tennessee, serving Davidson County and Wilson County. You can reach us at (615) 805-5748 or service@marshallandsonsservices.com.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you book a visit, send a message, call us, or submit a form on a social media platform:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• The service address where the work will happen
• What you told us about the property, the service you want, and when you would like it
• Photographs and written findings from work we carried out at your property

We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit this website, such as the pages you viewed and the type of device you used. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site.

Why we collect it

To call you back, confirm a price, schedule a visit, carry out the work, send you the photographs and findings afterwards, invoice you, and keep a record of what was done at the property. That is the whole list.

If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a marketing list. Nobody buys access to our customers.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run the business, and only the part each one needs:

• Google Workspace, which hosts our email and the sheet our booking requests land in
• Square, which processes card payments. Card details go to Square and never to us
• Meta, if you submitted a form on Facebook or Instagram rather than on this site
• Our phone provider, which carries calls and text messages

We will also release information if the law requires it, which in practice means a subpoena or a court order.

Photographs of your property

We photograph every job and send you the pictures. We keep a copy in the job record.

We sometimes use before and after photographs in our own marketing. Those pictures show ducts, vents, and equipment. They never show your address, your house number, a street sign, or anything that identifies whose property it is. If you would rather we did not use a photograph from your job at all, tell us and we will not.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointment, such as confirming a window or telling you we are on the way. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

How long we keep it

Job records, including photographs and findings, are kept for seven years. That is partly so you can ask us for a copy years later, and partly because tax and insurance records have to be retained.

Enquiries that never turned into a job are deleted within two years.

Your choices

Write to service@marshallandsonsservices.com or call (615) 805-5748 and you can:

• Ask what we hold about you
• Ask us to correct something that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to the record keeping above
• Ask us to stop contacting you, or to stop texting you

We will respond within thirty days, and usually a lot sooner.

Children

This is a home services business. We do not market to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

Customer information is held in Google Workspace with two factor authentication on every account. Payment card details are handled by Square and never stored by us. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on this page rather than quietly swapped in.
